A way for communities to learn and connect
The Network is supporting residents in Easton, Ashley and Lawrence Hill to share skills with each other, via short online Zoom sessions, hosted by local Network coordinators Lou and Sarah.
You don’t have to be an expert, just want to share what you know “how to do” with others.
What do you know how to do?
It might be you have set up a virtual coffee morning in your block of flats or enjoy a craft activity others could try. Have you got ideas on how to school your children at home or can you teach 5 useful sentences in Somali or Spanish? Is your thing I.T., making sweets, growing plants? Can you tell your neighbours about local history, celebrating Ramadan, identifying birdsong they might hear? What’s your passion?
Support to design your session
Tell us what you can do and The Network will help you think through how you can deliver your session and when. We can co-facilitate the session if you want. We will invite other local residents to watch and we will also share information about how to use Zoom.
Small groups
The session will be small – no more than 10 others learning from you, but can be less if you prefer – and will be a one off taster for you to talk or give a demonstration about something you think would be fun and useful for others.
