Parenting Programmes
Nurture Programme - Delivered by Shona & Tracey - Start Date Wednesday 26th January 2022
At Wellspring Settlement, we offer families a variety of parenting course one of these is the Nurture programme. The Nurture Programme is a parenting programme based on four constructs; self-awareness, appropriate behaviour, empathy and positive discipline and is usually run over ten weeks. During the pandemic, Family Links created ways to support parents with the new challenges that we faced during the pandemic. As we are aware parenting during ‘normal’ circumstances comes with its challenges however we understand that’s due to the pandemic our jobs as parents changed and along with this we have been faced with new challenges and new difficulties. Family Links have added a section to their website on ideas on how we can support our children during these uncertain times as well as ways we can look after our own mental well-being. You can find out more information here:

Family Links have a YouTube channel with some videos you may find useful, some of the videos are around how we look after our own and our child/children’s emotional wellbeing as well as how we may support our children to manage their difficult behaviour. For videos please follow the link:
