The Network
What is The Network?
The Network is an inner city Community Development project working alongside people living in the Easton, Ashley and Lawrence Hill to self organise in the community around issues and interests that affect their and their neighbours lives.
Over the past two years, The Network has worked alongside many residents to develop and deliver a wide variety of community initiatives and activities. Some examples include cultural events, street parties, campaigns, reclaiming community spaces, establishing regular activities, developing community assets, direct action, group development, fun days & fundraisers!
Much of the success has come through people building their networks around their ideas and connecting with those living in their neighbourhoods.
The project is a partnership between Barton Hill Settlement, St. Werburghs City Farm, Bristol Somali Resource Centre and the Wellspring Healthy Living Centre. We work closely together to build on our collective expertise, specialisms and resources in order to deliver The Network. We are funded through the Bristol Impact Fund.

"The park has never been so inviting. Kids, men and women from many backgrounds; glass free kids area; cut grass... whatever you did or are doing it definitely works."
