About us
Barton Hill Settlement has been a home and resource hub for Barton Hill residents and visitors since our founding in 1911. We provide a place to connect and engage, find camaraderie and support, and celebrate the vibrancy and growth of our vibrant and diverse community.
We are an independent charity (charity no. 1103139), and a limited company (no. 5031499). It is managed by a committee of mainly local people, and provides a wide variety of services. It is a key force for community development in East Bristol.
The Settlement was originally set up in 1911 as part of the University of Bristol. You can find out more about our history here (NOTE: link to come)
