Adult Learning

We offer a variety of courses at the Settlement, mostly run by the WEA. Course fees may be waived (i.e. the course is free) if you are in receipt of an income-related state benefit. Beginners Computing and Internet - next course starts April 28th, 2015!

This active course aims to introduce total and near beginners to everyday uses of computers. Starting from the basics, you’ll gain underpinning knowledge and skills to give you confidence to progress and become more independent in your use of computers.This course aims to introduce total beginners to general uses of computers, with particular emphasis on using the internet.

Computing and Internet, Next Step - next course starts April 28th, 2015!

The course aims to help people with a basic understanding of computers to improve and expand their knowledge and gain confidence in using computers.

English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)

ESOL classes are available at the Settlement. Please contact Reception for more information. Some creche places are available for ESOL learners.
