Celebration of Learning

As part of Adult Learners' Week, the Workshop will be holding a Celebration of Learning on Thursday, May 26th, 11:00 am - 2:00 pm.  And YOU are invited to join in the celebration!

During the day, there will be

• The launch of the Digital Stories project, showing slides of local women’s journeys leading them to Barton Hill
• A light lunch
• Presentation of Certificates to learners who attended the Workshop between June 2004 and May 2005
• Information and displays about courses in The Workshop
• Stalls from other local projects

There will also be workshops on all kinds of topics, including:

• Arabic dance
• Drama
• Sign Language
• Creative writing
• Cake decorating
• Leaf collage
• Restoring old photos
• Putting up a shelf
• Convert your music to MP3 format

A limited number of childcare places will be available - these must be confirmed and booked in advance.
