Ear Acupuncture at The CAAAD Project
|
The acupuncture service is free, and available to all clients who use The CAAAD Project, and to anybody who feels that the service will help them with their problems related to alcohol and drugs.
The service is run on a drop-in basis, and no appointment is necessary.
Acupuncture sessions are held at the following times:
Monday - 3:00 pm
Tuesday - 3:00 pm
Wednesday - 3:00 pm
Thursday - 6:00 pm
Friday - 3:00 pm
There will be no access 10 minutes after the session start time.
Treatment lasts 20 - 45 minutes. When the needles are inserted, you should try to relax - close your eyes, and allow your body to relax.
Auricular acupuncture is very safe. Only trained practitioners give this service. The treatment can affect different people in different ways, and the results are cumulative (i.e. they take a while to happen).
Note - we aim to offer as reliable a service as possible, but sometimes, due to staff availability, we may have to cancel sessions. We will try to give you as much notice of this as possible, and offer alternative sessions.
