Confidentiality Policy
|
The CAAAD Project follows a STRICT policy of CONFIDENTIALITY.
It is between YOU and the TEAM. This means we will not tell anyone that you have come to the project, or why you have come to the project, unless you give us WRITTEN PERMISSION.
This includes Family, Friends and Partners.
It can be useful for different agencies to work together to ensure you are getting the best service possible. We will always strive to have YOUR BEST INTERESTS at heart when we work with another agency with your permission.
If a member of staff sees you outside of the project, we will not acknowledge you unless you do so first, just in case you are with someone who does not know you access the project.
There are however certain occasions where we DO have to breach confidentiality by LAW:
If you talk about a CHILD suffering any kind of ABUSE, or we suspect that a child is being abused.
If we believe there is serious CONCERN for your SAFETY or someone else’s safety.
If we believe that there is a REAL or PERCEIVED threat of TERRORISM
