CAAAD (Community Action Around Alcohol and Drugs) is a project within Barton
Hill Settlement. The project's main offices are on the corner of Ducie
Road and Lawrence Hill, a few minutes' walk from the main site.
The project was set up in May 1999 by a group of local people
as a response to the increasing concern being expressed in the community over
the issue of drug and alcohol misuse in the area.
