Raking shore supporting the adjacent building Piledrivers in action The site with piles in the ground Concrete being pumped into piles
The old "cottages" (which house Playbus, Dhek Bhal, and Michael the Caretaker) are supported with raking shores, then underpinned. Meanwhile, these machines drill holes up to 10 metres deep Then pipes are placed in the holes The pipes are filled with concrete to make the piles which will support the building
Close-up of piles Pile cap Close up of the ground beam trenches The ground beams finished
Concrete poured onto the     top of the piles to form pile caps.  Here the pile caps are linked with trenches, which are lined with metal cages. The trenches are filled with concrete, and the spaces between them leveled.
