metal sheets arrive. These will form the base for the concrete floors. |
With amazing skill, the sheets
are lowered through the structure... |
...and stacked in the
appropriate parts of the building. |

| October 24th - the team prepare
to lay the concrete ground slab. |

November 1st - Meanwhile the
stairs are added... |
...and the building is
surrounded in scaffolding to give the team access to the upper floors. |

| November 6th - the ribbed metal
sheets are laid to make the base for the floors. |
November 8th - more decking
sheets added - giving welcome shelter from the rain! |

November 11th - floor decking
complete as the scaffolding is shrouded in blue safety netting. |

| November 13th - the first
external wall, in the corner that will eventually be the building's main
entrance. |
November 20th - the full
structure. The stud work that will form the basis of the external
walls is visible on the left. |
November 20th - work goes on on
the lift shaft, and the internal walls on the lower ground floor. |
November 27th - a large pipe
brings concrete from ground level to the top floor, where it forms the
floor itself. |
